Interior design
Tell me, designer — what should I do?
SAY TO ME DESIGNER
I’m Anastasiia Serkova, an architect-designer with a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and the founder of a design company originally based in Russia. I am now located in San Antonio, Texas.

I believe living spaces should be logical, comfortable, and thoughtfully organized. My work focuses on creating interiors that balance aesthetics with functionality, helping people feel at ease in their everyday environments.

Outside of design, I enjoy organizing efficient storage solutions and growing flowers—both of which influence my attention to structure, harmony, and detail in my projects.
"Everyone can have a beautiful and functional space within their budget"

Past projects
A Creative Home for a Writer

The apartment was envisioned for a novelist with refined, delicate taste, drawn to openness and natural light.

We translated her sensibilities into a layout that flows with ease and furnishings that feel both elegant and effortless.
From the corridor palette inspired by the Kazan Opera and Ballet Theatre, to French linen curtains that soften the daylight, to the milk-toned backsplash that arrived in perfect harmony, every element was chosen with intention.

The result is a home that radiates warmth, humor, and soul. It is a space where creativity and comfort coexist seamlessly.
Tea Ceremony Café
A compact yet versatile café designed to host tea ceremonies, workshops, social gatherings, and co-working sessions enhanced by a tea bar and a curated dishware shop.

Despite the challenges of a small footprint, multiple functions, a limited budget, and the constraints of an older building, the project achieved a fully optimized layout and a cohesive concept.

My role included developing the initial sketch concept, collaborating with contractors to design lighting that draws in customers, preparing detailed documentation for custom-made furniture, and overseeing a fast-paced implementation to secure a quick return on investment.

Pigeon Bakery
We transformed a former confectionery into a warm, inviting bakery while keeping the existing layout.

A custom fresco inspired by Van Gogh’s wheat fields sets the tone, echoed by bright yellow curtains.

At the entrance, a bar counter with a dessert display welcomes guests, while dark-painted ceilings, string lanterns, and a vintage chandelier create a cozy atmosphere.

This project was completed in collaboration with A. Sharapova.
Country House
A completed real estate property needed adaptation to better suit the family’s needs. The goal was to introduce a modern design and prepare documentation for the builders.

Initial Data:
Finished country house with an existing floor plan
Minimal layout changes required
Very high ceilings (4 meters), making smaller rooms feel like vertical “wells”

Key Achievements:
Adjusted the planning solution to fully accommodate the clients’ needs
Developed a modern, eco-inspired design with luxurious accents
Proposed a concept for the landscape and development of the property plot
Selected all furniture and materials

Result: A finished property was adapted to better fit the family’s lifestyle. With minimal layout changes, we addressed the challenge of 4‑meter ceilings that made smaller rooms feel like vertical “wells.”

  • Secured full approval from university leadership
  • Used 3D scanning to optimize layouts and wall positions
  • Added rest and dining areas, climate control, and sun-protection shades

Result: A cohesive, modern workspace that balances efficiency, comfort, and durability in a busy university setting.

Kitchen & Bathroom Remodeling

The clients purchased a house and needed a targeted renovation focused only on the kitchen and bathroom, working within a limited budget. The task was to refresh both spaces in a minimalist style using warm beige tones, creating a calm, modern, and cohesive look.
A Vietnamese Bar with a New Identity
The brand’s second location was designed to create a vibrant evening atmosphere with Vietnamese cuisine and exotic cocktails. Inherited from a former restaurant, the space was completely reimagined to erase any trace of the past interior.

 Highlights

  • Central rounded bar clad in natural stone veneer
  • Open kitchen preserved as a core feature
  • Repainted and repurposed furniture for budget efficiency
  • Green slat wall with planters for fresh character

This project was completed in collaboration with A. Sharapova.
Modern Classic Condo
A condo designed for a doctor, focused on maximizing space efficiency and creating a fresh, modern-classic interior. The living room and kitchen were combined to open up the layout, while light, airy tones and smart storage solutions ensure comfort and functionality. The compact bathroom was carefully planned to remain both practical and elegant.
Fragments of Our Projects

Each project is a portrait of the people who inhabit the space. We translate stories, habits, and dreams into interiors that feel alive and authentic. Challenges often inspire the most distinctive solutions, resulting in designs that are natural, harmonious, and deeply connected to the way our clients live and work.
Here is a short story of why the name is called say me: Why “SayMe”?

When I first started designing, clients would often tell me, “I just want my space to say me — to feel like me.” That little phrase stuck in my heart. It captured exactly what design should be: not about trends or rules, but about creating spaces that speak your personality, your story, your life.

So the name became SayMe Designer — a reminder that every project is about helping people see themselves reflected in the place they call home
